America at 250
The NFPF marks the 250th birthday of America with a program of 12 films that trace the American spirit—and its contradictions—across more than a century of filmmaking. Drawn from archives across the country, these films move from amateur to animated, sincere tribute to pointed critique, showing the many ways moving images have been used to inform, honor, document, and challenge our country.
